For more than 50 years, Saimlease has been selling, renting and maintaining handling equipment. The company distributes prestigious brands like Hyster, Clark, Doosan, Mitsubishi, etc. and sells more than 3,000 forklifts per year.

Since 2009, Saimlease has been regenerating its batteries in its French agencies, using Batterie Plus equipment.

The first two Saimlease agencies are located in Lens and Saint-Étienne, whilst the third one is in Lyon. Today, in this agency, the battery regeneration process is carried out by equipment supplied by Batterie Plus.
Being aware of the environmental requirements imposed on all the players in the supply chain, Saimlease has chosen to invest in battery regeneration equipment. This solution has proved to be a source of substantial savings in the maintenance programme for rental forklifts. It is important to understand that the original equipment battery lasts the entire life of the forklift.
The opportunity to offer new services to equipment users soon became apparent.

The 100% French manufacturing and the high power of the Batterie Plus regenerators convinced the company’s management to acquire a third battery regeneration workshop within its Lyon agency.

To use the equipment supplied by Batterie Plus, Saimlease staff received on-site training. In addition, each user has access to an online training platform, RegenAcademy. On this e-learning tool developed by Batterie Plus for its customers, more than 40 video tutorials explain battery regeneration in detail, enabling everyone to make the most of the equipment they have.

Be Energy welcomes the opening of Saimlease’s third battery regeneration workshop and wishes SAIMLEASE LYON team every success in its endeavour to reduce the carbon footprint, the circular economy, territorial resilience and the fight against programmed obsolescence.
