The battery regeneration market in India is booming and a new regeneration centre has opened in Hyderabad. This BATTERIE PLUS technology centre has been built to meet the needs of this constantly growing market.
Zoom on the Battery Regeneration Centre
The 750 m² building is entirely dedicated to this new battery regeneration centre. It is equipped with 4 BRT Maxi Gold regenerators and 2 BRT10 regenerators, which form the heart of the installation. Two automatic discharge benches and a multi-voltage charger are also present to relieve the regenerators at the end of the process and deliver the recharged batteries to end customers. The site will eventually house more than 10 machines.
Promoting youth employment and the circular economy
The battery regeneration market is significant, whether for traction batteries (forklift trucks, carts, trains, etc.) or stationary batteries (inverter batteries, solar, telecoms, UPS, etc.). The centre has also launched a youth employment support programme in partnership with the TELANGANA Chamber of Commerce.
Battery regeneration helps to reduce the hazardous industrial waste represented by used batteries and promotes employment for young people while strengthening a local circular economy. The centre has been honoured at Hindu ceremonies, including the recent DUSSARA festivities, which celebrate the victory of good over evil.
The Batterie Plus battery regeneration centre in Hyderabad is an important initiative for the growing battery regeneration market in India. It helps to reduce hazardous industrial waste while promoting youth employment and a circular economy. Long live this innovative centre!
