A lithium battery is a rechargeable energy storage device that uses lithium as the active material in its electrodes.
Lithium batteries have a high energy density and can store large amounts of energy.
These batteries are rechargeable, but their performance diminishes over time.

How do I know if my Lithium battery needs reconditioning?
Degradation of a lithium battery for electromobility such as: electric bicycles (EABs), scooters or electric scooters, can manifest itself in several ways:
- Lower range: Your battery’s lifespan decreases, so you need to recharge it more often.
- Excessive heat: The battery gets very hot when charging or using it.
- Charging time longer : The battery takes longer than before to charge.
- Lifetime reached : Battery no longer works, your device breaks down.
How Be Energy reconditions your Lithium battery
The reconditioning of lithium batteries requires a high level of technological expertise.
To this end, we have designed and produced a patented “PTS” Safe Workstation, which uses augmented reality and a series of sensors to ensure operator safety when working on batteries.
Thanks to its simple use, guided by augmented reality, the PTS is accessible to both novice and disabled technicians.

A study carried out on two national customers shows that 80% of batteries can be repaired.

Our R&D department is made up of : Doctor, Engineer, Data Scientist working in collaboration with CEA Liten. One disabled operator.
A 90 m2 laboratory dedicated to lithium, including:
- 3 Secure Workstations (Patent)
- 1 explosion chamber
- 1 secure cabinet
- 1 72-cell capacity cycler
- 1 Battery Managment System (BMS) tester
- 1 container outside the building where lithium batteries are stored.
